Terms and conditions

1.0 CONTRACT

1.1 Completion of the booking form shall constitute a binding contract between the person named on the booking form (“the Organiser”) and Raceway E London ltd (known as REL or Revolution karting, we, us or our) subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

2.0 PAYMENT

2.1 All bookings must be accompanied by a deposit of 50% of the total race fees, catering and other fees payable (including VAT).

2.2 Any deposit received is non-refundable.

2.3 All bookings must be paid in full 7 days prior to the event.

2.4 Where full payment is not received 7 days prior to the event Raceway E London ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking any deposit paid will be non-refundable.

2.5 The Organiser is liable for the full race fees for the use of the circuit for number of drivers booked, even if fewer drivers attend.

2.6 The card holder must be present at the event to verify payment.

3.0 CANCELLATION

3.1 We reserve your event by way of a deposit of 50% with the balance payable 1 week (5 working days) in advance. The monies are not refundable and the date is not transferable.

3.2 Race fees will not be refunded to any driver because that driver fails to attend or is withdrawn from the racing for any reason.

4.0 DRIVERS

4.1 Driver is defined by us to be a person or persons that are participating in any of Revolution karting or any 3rd party karting event hosted at Revolution karting venues.

4.2 Drivers must not consume alcohol for at least 8 hours before the event.

4.3 The Circuit’s management reserve the right to refuse admission and/or to bar drivers from the track for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion. Any person considered by the Circuit’s management to be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication any that inhibits the drivers ability to drive safely, will not be allowed to race.

4.3 We reserve the right to remove those from the track, who do not comply with our safety standards, causing danger to themselves and others without refunding any monies paid.

4.4 You are supplied with full race wear including gloves and helmets and are required by our health and safety policy to wear these items, failure to comply will result in being removed from the track. Sensible footwear is required. (No open-toed sandals or high heel).

4.5 Every driver is required to complete a disclaimer form in accordance with our Public Liability Insurance and participate in a Safety Briefing prior to the event.

4.6 Every Driver of any karting experience must attend and adhere to Revolution karting safety briefings 

5.0 CIRCUIT EXCLUSIONS

5.1 Drivers must be under 18 stone (114kg), over 5ft 1 inch (155cm) tall in order to race.

5.2 Drivers must be at least 18 years old except for events specified as Children’s events. If you are unsure about any driver’s suitability due to weight or height please contact Raceway E London LTD for clarification in good time before the event.

6.0 TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

6.1 Revolution is pleased to assist in arranging transport for events. Though we do our best to coordinate accurate pick-up times with the driver, Raceway E London Ltd cannot accept responsibility for delays in arrival time due to circumstances beyond our control.

7.0 LATE ARRIVALS & NO SHOWS

7.1 ALL DRIVERS must arrive no later than 30 minutes before the times you are allocated for your Karting event. Booked times (times shown online) do not include time allowed for safety briefing, changing into race wear and if it is included in your event, a podium ceremony. If you arrive late it will affect your time allocated for the track.

7.2 For insurance reasons, drivers arriving after the safety briefing has commenced are not allowed to race and will not receive any refund.

7.3 Where an exclusive event is delayed due to late arrivals, the Circuits management may in their sole discretion and on request of the Organiser delay the safety briefing. In such case, the event will be shortened to make up for the time lost.

8.0 FORCE MAJEURE AND LIMITATION

8.1 Where the event is prevented, frustrated or delayed due to force majeure (including but not limited to riot, strikes, natural catastrophe, power failure, fire or accident to plant or machinery) or any other cause beyond its control, REL liability shall be limited to refunding or (at REL ltd’s option) re-scheduling the event at a future date convenient to all parties.

8.2 Raceway E LondonLtd shall not be under any liability whatsoever for direct losses, loss of profits, indirect losses or consequential losses or any type and its maximum liability shall in all cases be limited to the total amount or money paid for the event.

8.3 Notwithstanding the generality of the above, please note that all karting events are live events and may overrun due to unforeseen delays. Any quoted “End Time” is a pre-event estimate, for guidance only.
